Design Approach for Street Theatre Landing Page / مسرح الشارع&nbsp;

To bring the vibrant Street Theatre event in Bordj Bou Arreridj, Algeria, to life online, I undertook a detailed design process that reflected the event’s youthful and artistic energy. The goal was to create a landing page that captures the essence of street performances and engages visitors effectively.

The design process began with thorough research into the event's unique identity. I then created wireframes in Figma, focusing on structuring the page to enhance user experience and engagement. The wireframes served as a blueprint for the layout, ensuring that key elements like the event calendar and workshop sections were easily accessible and visually compelling.

Building on the wireframes, I crafted a bold and dynamic visual style. The design features:

Hero Section: A striking background inspired by street art, setting an energetic tone from the moment visitors land on the page.

Event Calendar: Designed with vibrant, artistic icons to make navigating event dates intuitive and visually appealing.

Workshops Section: Showcased with engaging visuals and bold typography to highlight the hands-on, interactive nature of the workshops.

I translated the visual design into a fully functional WordPress site. Key aspects included:

Custom Integration: Tailoring WordPress features to align with the event’s branding and functional needs.

Interactive Elements: Implementing animated elements and interactive buttons to keep users engaged.

Responsive and Adaptive Design: Ensuring the site looks and functions beautifully on all devices, providing a seamless experience whether on mobile, tablet, or desktop.

After development, I conducted rigorous testing to ensure the site’s functionality and responsiveness. This phase involved:

Cross-Device Testing: Verifying that the landing page performs well across different devices and screen sizes.

Performance Optimization: Ensuring fast load times and smooth interactions by optimizing images and code.

The landing page went live within 4 days of continuous work, reflecting a commitment to both speed and quality. The final product successfully captures the lively spirit of the Street Theatre event, offering a visually engaging and user-friendly experience that effectively promotes the event and encourages attendance.

By integrating dynamic visuals with intuitive design and swift development, the landing page not only highlights the essence of the street performances but also provides an immersive platform for visitors to connect with the event.

Inspiration was drawn exclusively from Figuig's rich Moroccan decor—intricate tile patterns, warm spice hues—and its delicious dishes like tagines, and pastilla.

The design harmoniously blends modern functionality with the restaurant's spirit in mind

Using Figma, I developed and refined wireframes and prototypes in close collaboration with Figuig's team.

The final design encapsulates Figuig's essence—culinary excellence and Moroccan hospitality—enhancing its digital presence while staying true to its cultural roots.
